Introduction
White Pine Bark has long been used in Native American medicine and it is an old trusted remedy for colds and flu. It contains powerful antioxidants help to strengthen the immune system and fight infection. The Algonquian tribes would gather the cambial layer of eastern white pine to prepare for winter lean times to ward off starvation. The dried inner bark would be pounded into a flour substitute. The Iroquois called the Algonquians "Adirondack", which is an Iroquois word for "bark eater". 2 oz. cut/sifted.
